Who is responsible
VEGA LABS LTD operates Hybrid4Life and is responsible for the personal information described here. Contact us at support@vegalabs.co.uk.
Information we use
- Account: If you sign in with Google or create an email account, we use your account identifier, email address, authentication information, and any name or profile photo supplied by your sign in provider.
- Training: The app records the workouts you create or complete, dates, timings, splits, distances, loads, targets, training settings, and race goals. Some profile settings such as age and weight are stored on your device. Signed in users can back up workout records to their account.
- Garmin: When you pair a compatible Garmin device, the app exchanges workouts and recorded session data with it.
- Membership: If you view or buy a plan, RevenueCat processes an app user identifier, purchase and entitlement status, and related transaction and device information. Google Play processes the payment. We do not receive your full payment card details.
You can use local training features without creating an account. Some features, including cloud backup, require sign in.
Why we use it
We use account and training information to provide the app, save and sync workouts, show progress, connect to your watch, and respond to support requests. We use membership information to display plans, restore purchases, and provide paid access when available. We may use limited technical information to keep the service secure and fix problems. We do not sell training data or use it for advertising.
Our legal bases under UK data protection law are performance of our agreement with you for core app and membership functions, legitimate interests in operating a secure service, and legal obligations where we must keep records or respond to lawful requests. Any future optional connection that requires your authorisation will be explained when you choose to connect it.
Service providers and location
Google Firebase and Google Cloud support sign in, cloud storage, hosting, and server functions. Garmin services support watch connectivity. RevenueCat manages membership status, and Google Play handles Android purchases. These providers may process information outside the UK. Contact us if you want details about a particular transfer or the safeguards used.
WHOOP integration is prepared but is not active in the current app. If activated later, its data use will be described before you connect it.
Keeping and deleting information
Local workouts and settings remain on your device until you remove them or clear the app. Signed in workout records remain in your cloud account until deletion is requested or completed. Signing out does not delete cloud data. Purchase records may remain with Google Play and RevenueCat for billing, fraud prevention, and legal record keeping according to their policies.
To request deletion of your Hybrid4Life account and associated cloud workout data, use our account deletion page or email support@vegalabs.co.uk. Deleting an account does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription; cancel it in Google Play first if you have one.
Your rights
Depending on where you live and the legal basis involved, you may ask to access, correct, erase, restrict, or receive a copy of your personal information, and object to certain uses. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it. Send requests to support@vegalabs.co.uk. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office or your local data protection authority.
Changes and contact
We will update this page when our data practices change and show the date above. For material changes, we will give notice in the app or by email where appropriate. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to support@vegalabs.co.uk.
